April Lynn Taylor

April Lynn Taylor, 53, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at her home.

She was born April 28, 1972, in Ripley, WV, a daughter of Roy Lincoln Shinn of Sandyville, WV, and the late Judith Evelyn (Spurlock) Ebert. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles David “Pops” Ebert.

April was a 1990 graduate of Point Pleasant High School and was a homemaker.

Survivors in addition to her father include her son, Bryan Nicholas “Nicky” Taylor of Point Pleasant; brother, Joseph Shinn and his wife, Jodi of Point Pleasant; stepbrother, David Ebert of Point Pleasant; stepsister, Stephanie Ebert of Point Pleasant; aunt, Betty Painter of Mason, WV; uncle and aunt, Tom and Sandy Fisher of Gallipolis Ferry, WV and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends.

In honoring Aprils wishes, there will be no services at this time.
