Benjamin "Ben" Allen Redman, 40, of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at his home.
He was born April 22, 1985, in Gallipolis, Ohio, a son to Barry Allen Redman and Diane Louise (Henry) Redman.
Ben was a graduate of the Point Pleasant High School Class of 2003 and attended Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio. He was a construction worker for Superior Home Solutions in St. Albans, West Virginia, a member of the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church, and was a son of the American Legion Post # 23 in Point Pleasant. Ben's greatest joy was watching his son, Jackson, grow up, play baseball, and helping him work on his truck along with camping and fishing on the Cranberry River.
Ben was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Charles and Beryle Redman; maternal grandparents, Earl and Maudellen Henry; and uncle, Randy Riddle.
Ben is survived by his parents, Barry and Diane Redman of Point Pleasant; son, Benjamin Jackson Redman of Point Pleasant; sister, Erin (Travis) Tolliver of Point Pleasant; nieces, Bella, Alexa and Lola Tolliver of Point Pleasant; and special aunts, Robin (Dave) Jenkins of Point Pleasant, Lisa Riddle of Point Pleasant, Lori (Jim) Doeffinger of Point Pleasant, Kelly (Mike) Kauffer, of Huntington; Sandy (George) Garton of Jane Lew, Sally Bailey of Ashland; and special friends, Joe Doeffinger of Hurricane and Alvin Taylor of Charleston.
Visitation will be Friday, June 6, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
