Betty Annetta Wilson

Betty Annetta (Sypolt) Wilson, 88 of Belpre, Ohio, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at The Wyngate of Parkersburg, Parkersburg, WV. She was born December 21, 1923, in Rowlesburg, WV, a daughter of the late Russell Melvin Sypolt and Eva Virginia (Whitehair) Sypolt. Betty was a member of the Rowlesburg United Methodist Church of Rowlesburg, WV, and attended Rockland United Methodist Church in Belpre, Ohio. She had owned and operated Wilson's Jewelery in Rowlesburg for over 50 years, and was a member of the Rowlesburg Order of Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Sypolt. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry Allen and Bev Wilson of Belpre, OH; two granddaughters; and four great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the Rowlesburg United Methodist Church in Rowlesburg, WV, with Rev. Harold George officiating. Burial will follow at the Etam Cemetery in Etam, WV. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church Wednesday.
