Bonnie Dymple (Harris) Snodgrass, affectionately known as “MUV”, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, at home, surrounded by loving family and friends.

She was born May 16th, in Southside, WV, to Zechariah Luther and Mae Ophila (Baker) Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Margaret McClure Baker; husband, George Michael Snodgrass; son, Robert Danny Cook; brother, Z. Harris Jr. “June” and granddaughter, Whitnee Rae Chapman.

Bonnie graduated from high school in Columbus, OH, and retired as a Nurse from Dr. Aarom Boonsue’s office in Point Pleasant. She was the past President of the Junior Woman’s Club in New Haven, and past Treasurer and Vice President of the Senior Woman’s Club of New Haven. Bonnie was a member of the Baptist Church in Columbus, OH, attended New Haven United Methodist Church, and Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church. She loved interior decorating and had a certain je ne sais quoi.

Survivors include her wonderful daughter and caretaker, Misti Chapman and her husband, John of Point Pleasant; grandson, Wesley Austin Chapman of Point Pleasant; two nieces, Barbara Harris Chastain of New Bern, NC, Lori Harris Miller and her husband, Steve of High Point, NC, along with several other great nieces and nephews, and two special friends, Lois Bumgarner of West Columbia and Judy Hensley of Point Pleasant.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2026, at Mt. Zion Cemetery on Thomas Ridge, with Pastor Donnie Dye officiating.
