Brenda Gleason

Brenda (Booth) Gleason, 82, passed away peacefully and entered into Heaven on Monday, August 3, 2026, in Point Pleasant, WV.

She was born in Huntington, WV, on February 13, 1944, to the late Holbert and Lorena (Oldaker) Booth of Glenwood, WV.

She worked years in retail at Heck’s, Fruth’s, and retired from Walmart. She loved her cats, gardening, and attending Bellemead United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Rusty (Mary) Gleason of Point Pleasant, and a daughter, Dawnda (Gleason) Browning of Mason, WV; four grandchildren, Brandon Gleason of Columbus, OH, Jesse (Rylee) Gleason of Apple Grove, WV, Hannah Gleason of Point Pleasant, and Megan (Gleason) Bolton of North Carolina; four great grandchildren, AJ, Rylie, and Mason all of North Carolina, and Isla of Apple Grove, WV; one brother, Michael Booth of Glenwood, WV and one sister, Sharon (Booth) Shobe of Lesage, WV. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well.

A private memorial service will be held by the family as requested by Brenda. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Kirkland Memorial Gardens.
