Carolyn Elaine Chambers

Carolyn Elaine Chambers, 92, of Point Pleasant, went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2023.  She was a retired educator loved by many.

Carolyn was born October 9, 1930, in Leon, WV, a daughter of the late Carl Hayman and Disa (Burdette) Hayman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robert Chambers; son, Charles Robert Chambers Jr. and son David Chambers.

Carolyn was a faithful member of Main Street Baptist Church of Point Pleasant until 2020 when she was unable to attend.

She is survived by a son, John Chambers of North Carolina (grandsons Jack and Connor Chambers), son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Karen Chambers of Point Pleasant (grandson Carson).

A private service will be held at Wilcoxen Funeral Home, with Pastor Randy Carnes officiating.  Burial will follow at the Leon Cemetery in Leon.

The family will have a Celebration of Life for Carolyn to be announced at a later date.
