Charles Robert Georgi Jr.

Charles Robert Georgi Jr., 78, of Point Pleasant, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. He was born October 9, 1935, in Toledo, Ohio, a son of the late Charles Robert Georgi and Myra (Mathewson) Georgi. Charles served his country in the United States Army's 25th Division, was a member of United Steelworkers Union Local No. 5668 of Ravenswood, WV, and retired as an electrician from Century Aluminum January 31, 1996 with 25 years service. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Charles is survived by his wife, Deborah L. (Neal) Georgi whom he married August 14, 1981; two sons, Mark Georgi of Point Pleasant and Charles Robert "Chucky" Georgi III of Toledo; four grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and his pets, Pooh and Tigger.
