Clarence Litchfield

Clarence "Buddy" Litchfield, 65, of Apple Grove, WV died Monday, January 21, 2008 in the Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Point Pleasant. Buddy attended the Millstone Church at Apple Grove, and was retired from Amherst Industries with over 20 years service. He was born February 26, 1942 in Letart, WV to the late Marion Litchfield and Mattie Jane (Siders) Litchfield. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John Litchfield; a sister, Connie Burris; and a grandson, Adam Neal. Surviving are his wife, Ruby Litchfield of Apple Grove whom he married June 21, 1967; their children, Chuck and Stacy Litchfield of Henderson, WV; Vickie and Carl Neal of Leon, WV; Brenda and Brian Blankenship of Mason, WV; and Michelle Litchfield and Luis Ventura of Gallipolis Ferry; grandchildren, Kelly and Justin Litchfield, Cheyenne Thacker, and Emmanuel Ventura; a brother, Mike Litchfield of Point Pleasant; a sister, Nancy (David) Henry of Gallipolis Ferry; two special brothers-in-law, Larry Hall of Southside, WV; and Larry Burris of Apple Grove; and a very special friend, Marlin Price along with a host of numerous friends. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2008 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Pastor David Washington officiating. Burial will follow in the Apple Grove Memorial Gardens at Apple Grove. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
