Craig Eric Hill

Craig Eric Hill, 64, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born April 23, 1961, in Point Pleasant, a son to the late Charles Asbury Hill, Jr. and Geraldine Y. "Geri" (Sayre) Hill.

Craig was a retired health service worker at Lakin Hospital with 25 years of service, a member of the NRA, and a graduate of Wahama High School.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles E. "Chuck" Hill, and a niece, Charlene "Charly" Evon Hill.

Craig is survived by his wife of six years, Stephanie Dawn (Spears) Hill, of Gallipolis; a son, Chase (Mikaela) Daugherty of Southside; three step children, Jeff Ashworth of Yorkville, Illinois, Kevin W. Jackson, II, of Gallipolis, and Jordan M. (Savannah) Jackson of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Trent, Grant and Rylee Daugherty of Southside; step grandchildren, Jacob and Jeremiah Jackson and Amelia "Millie" Wilson of Point Pleasant; a special niece, Nicole Ramey of Gallipolis; and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family at the Evergreen Cemetery in Letart, West Virginia, with Kevin W. Jackson, II, officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
