David Clive Watson

Sep 6, 1947 — Jul 20, 2026

David Clive Watson was born September 6, 1947, and passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, from a long illness.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Edward “Skilley” Watson and Ada Watson, and by his sister, Debbie Peck.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Margie Watson, whose love, devotion, and lots of patience were the foundation of their life together. He also leaves behind his daughters, Holli (Mike) Rollins, and Heather (Tommy) Fallon, who will forever cherish the memories, lessons, and love that he shared with them.

David was a proud grandfather to Aubree Geppert, Ryan (Miranda) Reynolds, Joshua Reynolds, Karley (Thomas) Racey, Liam Fallon, and Roman Fallon. He was also blessed to be a great-grandfather to Colter Reynolds, Walker Reynolds, and Waylon Racey. He is further survived by his sister, Georgina (Albert) Cooper, along with many extended family members and friends.

Holding a special place in his heart was his loyal four-legged companion, Ugg, who was never far from his side.

David was a man with a strong personality and unmistakable presence. He wasn’t liked by all, but he was loved by many. He lived life on his own terms and left a lasting impression on everyone who crossed his path. He was also an avid fisherman and found great joy in spending time on the water.

Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created, and the love he shared will continue to live on through his family.

In accordance with David’s wishes, no service will be held.
