Donald Wesley "Bud" Waugh Jr.

Donald Wesley "Bud" Waugh Jr., was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and friend who passed away at home on Monday, September 28, 2026.

Bud is preceded in death by his parents, Donald Waugh Sr. and Patricia Waugh; mother-in-law, Lenora Kanniard; nephews, Harley Kanniard, Jeffrey Salmons and Roger Allen Plants.

Bud was a proud United States Marine who honorably served his country for 4 years of active duty and 2 years inactive.  His time in the Marine Corps was an important part in his life. He carried the values of loyalty, strength, dedication with him throughout his life. Some of the things that he loved to do was gardening and working on model cars. Above all, Bud was a family man. He spent 37 years with his beloved wife Valissa "Robin" Waugh who was by his side through all of life's joys and challenges.

Bud is survived by his wife, Robin Waugh and their son, Brandon Waugh. He was also a father figure to Willie and Waylon Jeffers, Natasha Waugh and Stephanie Waugh all while loving and raising them as his own.  His grandchildren were a special joy in his life. He leaves behind his granddaughter, Kasity Jeffers and grandson, Daylan Steger along with his bonus grandaughter Kynslee Jones. He is also survived by his siblings, Rebecca (Roger) Plants, Vicki (Larry) Edmonds, Tracy (John) Saunders, Cleo (Danny) Trippett and Jonathon Waugh. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews.

Though he is no longer with us, his love, stories, laughter and the memories he made with his family will always be remembered.

Private services and burial will be held at the Balls Chapel Cemetery in Ashton, WV.

Arrangements are under the care of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV.
