Dorothy B. (Willet) Boggs, 84, a resident of the Ravenswood Village, formerly of New Haven, WV, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Ravenswood Village, Ravenswood, WV. She was born October 3, 1929, in Southside, WV, a daughter of the late Fred Willet, and Nellie (Hooton) Willet. Dorothy was a homemaker, and caregiver. She was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Point Pleasant, and attended the Church of Christ in Christian Union of Point Pleasant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leroy Boggs Sr.; a daughter, Carolyn Harrah; one son, Robert "Johnny" Boggs Jr.; a granddaughter, Amy Boggs; one sister, Jacqulin Boles; and a brother, Ronnie Willet. She is survived by three daughters and son-in-law, Patsy (Kenneth) Keebaugh, of Ravenswood, Brenda Black, of Point Pleasant, and Jeanie Staats, of West Columbia, WV; one son, Randall Boggs, of Point Pleasant; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. Also, surviving are one brother, Charles (Ella) Willet, of Point Pleasant; five sisters, Phyllis Jean (Alan) Mayberry, of Allentown, PA, Ruth Lewis, of Grove City, OH, Juanita Jo Craig, of Orient, OH, Betty (Cecil) Birchfield, of Gallipolis Ferry, and Linda Logan, of Gallipolis Ferry; former son-in-law, Max Staats, of Letart; daughter-in-law, Etta Jane Boggs, of Mineral Wells, WV; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, June 6, 2014, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home, in Point Pleasant with Pastor Brian Ross officiating.
