Elnora Marie Smith

Elnora Marie (Haynes) Smith, 70, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at home, with her loving husband and daughter by her side.

She was born February 27, 1955, in Pikeville, KY, a daughter of the late Clinard and Goldie (Swinney) Haynes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher “Chris” Smith; five brothers, and one sister.

Marie previously worked in Banking and was a homemaker. She loved gardening, working outside in her flower beds and enjoyed watching the Food Network on T.V. Marie loved her grandchildren and was Baptist by faith.

Survivors include her faithful and loving husband of 50 years, Larry Smith; daughter, Kimberly Osborn of Point Pleasant; sisters, Edna Lanier, Margaret (Tim) Collier, Gay Blankenship; four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

At Marie’s request, there will be no funeral. Private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
