Esther Louise Casey

Esther Louise (Meadows) Casey, 98, of Apple Grove, WV, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV.

She was born December 2, 1927, in Apple Grove, WV, a daughter of the late Otho Meadows and Martha (Terry) Chapman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Casey; son, Narvil Edward Casey; several brothers and sisters and two daughters-in-law, Maryann Casey and Karen Casey.

Esther was a homemaker and a member of Mount Carmel Church, Apple Grove. She loved attending church services and quilting.

Survivors include her children, Linda (John) Eggert of Lancaster, OH, John Paul (Donna) Casey of Apple Grove, Ronald (Sue) Casey of Lancaster, OH, Deborah Bright of New Lexington, OH, Sheila Linn of New Lexington, OH, Wendell (Debbie) Casey of Rushville, OH, Teresa (Doug) Perry of Gallipolis Ferry, WV and many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2026, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, WV, with Pastor Jerry Colburn officiating. Burial will follow at Beale Chapel Cemetery, Apple Grove, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 12 p.m. until time of the service on Friday, at the funeral home.
