Eula Dayonez Keister

Eula Dayonez (Lilly) Keister, 91, of Point Pleasant, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, July 26, 2013 at home. She was born January 9, 1922, in Upland, WV, a daughter of the late Jason Granville Lilly and Maple Vanina (Byus) Lilly. Dayonez was a member of the Glenwood Methodist Church and attended New Hope Bible Baptist Church in Point Pleasant. She was a 1940 graduate of Hannan High School, and Marshall University. She retired with 30 years service as a teacher from Mason County Schools. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Ervin Keister; two sisters, Ruth Lilly Spence and Justine Lilly Rosenberg; and two brothers, Dr. William Lilly and infant brother Arnold Lilly. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Ed Woomer of Point Pleasant, and Terry and Bill Roeser of Kingsport, TN; three grandchildren, Brent (Amy) Woomer, Barrett (Kim) Woomer, and Holly Roeser; and seven great grandchildren, Shelby, Anna, Ashlea, Katey, Boston Woomer, Leigh and Drew Thomas. Also, surviving are brothers and sisters, Twila Lilly Oliver of Idaho, Dr. James (Arlene) Lilly of Thompson Station, TN, and David Grant (Roberta) Lilly of Cape Coral, FL; and two special nieces, Dana (Jim) Hinzman of Bishop, GA, and Jayne (David) Graham of Brandon, FL. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2013, at Beale Chapel Cemetery in Apple Grove, with Pastor Steven Sanderson and Rev. Jim Hinzman officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. till noon at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O.
