Fannie Joyce Rosas, 80, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Cabell Huntington Hospitial, Huntington, WV. She was born June 20, 1940, in Hurricane, WV, a daughter of the late Roncie Leonard Yoder and Golda (Abbott) Yoder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Madolyn Tincher and May Lotts; a brother, R. Leon Yoder; and sister-in-law, Jo Kathleen "Kitty" Yoder. Joyce attended Faith Gospel Church at Gallipolis Ferry, was a graduate of Hurricane High School Class of 1958 and an active member of the Mason County C.E.O.S.. She retired as an employee for the State of California and had been a small business owner and operator. Joyce lived a vibrant life from the East and West Coast. She is survived by two sisters, Louise (Thomas) Rumbaugh of Hurricane, WV and Mary Catherine Fisher of Sun City Center, FL; a brother, Paul Yoder of Gallipolis Ferry; sister-in-law, Isabelle Yoder of Point Pleasant; and many adoring nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Dean Warner officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service Saturday at the funeral home.
