Gary Gano Boggess

Gary Gano Boggess, 71, of Gallipolis Ferry, died Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Point Pleasant.He was born September 17, 1942, the son of the late Mansford Boggess and Norma Montena (Williams) Boggess.Gary was a retired boilermaker with local 667 of Winfield, WV.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue (Davis) Boggess.He is survived by one son, Gary (Tammy) Boggess Jr. of Midway, GA; four daughters, Deborah Boggess of Southside, Sandra (Rick) Birchfield of Southside, Pamela (Donnie) Pearson of Southside and Norma Reiser (Sam Meeks) of Gallipolis Ferry; six grandchildren, Perry Troy, Daniel Hughes, Scarlett Reiser, Justin Hughes, Samantha Birchfield and Gracy Sue Boggess; one brother, Charles Holbrook (Sherry) of Whitesville, WV; two sisters, Mona Esterlee of Hampstead, NC, Tena Maynor (Benny) of Summersville, WV; one special nephew, Charles "Buzzy" Butler; and several other nieces and nephews that he loved.At the request of Gary, there will be no funeral service or visitation and his body will be cremated with private burial at the convenience of the family.
