Geraldine Irene (Adams) Putney

Geraldine Irene (Adams) Putney, 71, of Pliny, WV, passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the home of her son. Gerri joined her daughter, Sandra Elaine Putney; father, Rex Davis Adams; and brother, Robert Adams in Heaven. She was born February 14, 1941, in Pliny, a daughter of Mary Maxine Adams of Pliny, and the late Rex Davis Adams. Gerri is survived in addition to her mother, by her son, Darrell Putney and fiancee Tabitha Neal of Gallipolis Ferry; one granddaughter, Serenity Putney of Gallipolis Ferry; step grandson and wife, John and Sarah Edwards of Crown City, OH; step great grandchildren, Savannah and Hannah Edwards of Crown City; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Jim Morgan of Pliny, Jeannie and Jim Newton of Logan, OH, and Glenna and Wayne Williamson of Southside; and many loving cousins. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Cemetery at Pliny, WV. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully ask that donations be sent to: Darrell Putney, P. O.
