Grace Yvonne Mayhorn

Grace Yvonne Mayhorn, 58, of Gallipolis, Ohio, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born November 27, 1954, in Syracuse, Ohio, to the late Hugh Avery Thomson and Rosella (Hudson) Thomson Secoy. Grace was a homemaker, and attended French City Baptist Church until her illness prohibit her from attending. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Pearl Cecil Secoy; and one sister, Delores Jean (Thomson) Hudson Lewis. Grace is survived by her husband, Ernie Lee Mayhorn of Gallipolis; one sister, Nancy Ann (Alton) Levingston of Missouri; a brother, William Wallace Thomson and fiancee Brenda Campbell of Alabama; several nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews; and little dog Susie. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Randy Carnes officiating. Burial will follow in the Taylor-Ward Family Cemetery on Jim Hill Road, Henderson, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Sunday.
