James Theodore Gordon

James Theodore Gordon, 78, of Gallipolis, Ohio, died Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. He was born September 27, 1934, in Henderson, WV, a son of the late Theodore Roosevelt Gordon and Marie (Crawford) Gordon. James served in the U. S. Army, and was a carpenter for B.J. Builders of Point Pleasant. Surviving are his wife, Leona M. (Wears) Gordon of Gallipolis; a daughter, Janet Holtman of West Portsmouth, OH; and one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Christina Gordon of Gallipolis. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 14, 2013, at the Church of Christ in Christian Union of Gallipolis with Pastor Bob Isaacs officiating.
