Jane L. "Lee" Lewis

Jane L. "Lee" Lewis, 76, of Point Pleasant, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 19, 1936, in Beckley, WV, a daughter of the late Lawrence N. Brackenrich and Etheline (Ballard) Brackenrich. Lee was a member of Life Spring Community Church of Point Pleasant, and a retired teacher with the Mason County Board of Education with 33 years service. She was also, a member of Mason County Retired Teachers Association, Daughters of the American Revolution, The Red Hat Society, was selected as Who's Who Among Teachers, and an avid gardener. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Debra Jane and Dan Brisker of Oak Hill, Ohio and Pamela Sue and Ellis Gaines of Raleigh, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Andrea (Daniel) Noles of Charlotte, NC, Drew (Tiffany) Hussell of Huntington, WV, Dylan Gaines and Drake Gaines of Raleigh, NC; and one great grandson Weston Noles of Charlotte, NC. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Ed Rogers officiating.
