Janet Lee Watterson

Janet Lee Watterson, 81, of Point Pleasant, died Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Holzer Senior Care Center, Bidwell, Ohio.She was born April 12, 1933, in Glenwood, WV, a daughter of the late Alta Pearl (Wallace) Wray.Janet was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Point Pleasant. She graduated from Point Pleasant High School, Class of 1952, and retired from Holzer Medical Center with 25 years service as a billing clerk.In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Wray.Janet is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jack Frederick and Bettie Propp of Mason, WV; two granddaughters, Ashlee (Brian) Bevans of Bidwell, OH, and Bobbi (Eddie) Shamblin of Mason; one great granddaughter, Kassidy Shaffer of Bidwell. Also, surviving are four sisters, Doris (Bud) Crothers of Gallipolis, Judith (Walter) Laudermilt of Racine, OH, Mary Lou (Leroy) of Centerville, OH, and Karen (D.L.) Ellyson of Breaux Bridge, LA; five brothers, Jack (Joyce) Wray of Point Pleasant, Roy (Waleska) Wray of Gallipolis, Bill Wray of Gallipolis, Fredrick Wray of Point Pleasant, and Randy Wray of Point Pleasant; a sister-in-law, Jean Wray of Bidwell; and several nieces and nephews.A funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor James Ellis officiating.
