Jean Faudree Roush

Jean Faudree Roush, 88, formerly of Point Pleasant, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014, in Hagerstown, Maryland. Jean was born October 1, 1926, to the late Marquerite (Jordan) Faudree and W. Oakley Faudree. On April 5, 1947, she married Cecil Dale Roush and they had one son, Ronald. Jean was a member of Saint Peters Lutheran Church and Altar Guild of Point Pleasant. She was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter No. 75, a 50 year member of the GFWC Women's Club of Point Pleasant, a 50 year member of Pleasant Valley Hospital Auxiliary, and a life member of the Point Pleasant River Museum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; and brother, Hillis Faudree. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Barbara Roush of Germantown, MD; and two grandchildren, Brandi Roush of Long Island City, NY and Brad Roush of Arlington, VA. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Sunday, December 21, 2014, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. John Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Suncrest Cemetery, in Point Pleasant. Visitation will be from 12 - 1 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
