Jerry M. Massile

Jerry M. Massile went home to be with the Lord on May 10, 2025, in Point Pleasant. He was born in Cannelton, WV, on May 9, 1940, to the late Massimo "Charlie" Massile and Margaret (Schott) Massile.

Jerry was a graduate of Cedar Grove High School and a member of the Class of 1958. He was employed by Century Aluminum in Ravenswood as a maintenance mechanic and millwright.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Lee Massile, and two sisters, Eloise Reagan and Marlene Tisher.

Jerry is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Mora Karen (Wood) Massile; children, Jerry Michael (Lori) Massile of Point Pleasant, WV, Larry Wayne Massile of Poca, WV, and Cathy Elaine (Tim) Cochran of Point Pleasant, WV; grandchildren, Jon (Ashleigh) Massile, Jacob (Olivia) Massile, Brittney Massile, Derek Massile, Garrett (Shana) Cochran and Sarah (Franklin) Nott; great grandchildren, Paisley, Joslyn, Griffin, Avrey, Adaline, Ryland, Gabby, Amelia, Claire and baby boy Massile on the way; and a sister, Ann Sharon Hall (Curtis) of Lexington, KY.

Visitation will be Friday, May 16, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, WV. The service will follow at 1:00 PM, officiated by Ronnie Cremeans. Burial will be in Kirkland Memorial Gardens, Point Pleasant, WV.
