Jerry Allen Walker Sr.

Jerry Allen Walker Sr., 75, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at home, following a brief illness.

He was born September 10, 1950, in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Everette and Clella (McComas) Walker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Jerry Walker II; and siblings, Benny Lynn, Howard Walker and an infant sister.

Jerry was a 1969 graduate of Guyan Valley High School in Huntington, WV, and retired from the West Virginia DOT. He was a member of Fairview Bible Church in Letart, WV, and served as the Sunday Superintendent. Jerry loved playing Volley Ball, and always willing to lend a helping hand to others.

Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Jamesetta (Beaver) Walker; children, Tara Swatzel and her husband, Steve of Pomeroy, OH, Kelly Pickens and her husband, Bill of Gallipolis, OH, Kourtney Murphy of Ohio; brother, Bernard (Sharon) Walker; sisters, Peggy (Fred) Staley, Rhandi (George) Hinojosa, Terrilyn Ariyan; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of Jerry’s life will take place at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Fairview Bible Church, Letart, WV, with Pastor Donnie Dye officiating.
