John Franklin Clendenen II, 78, of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at home.
He was born October 14, 1945, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late John Franklin "Rags" Clendenen and Maxine Elizabeth (Dudding) Clendenen Nibert.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jim Crawford.
John was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School and retired from M & G Polymers in Apple Grove, WV.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John Franklin Clendenen III and wife Christy of Glenwood; daughter, Chrystina Ladawn Crawford of Williamstown, WV; a granddaughter, Chelsea Crawford of Buffalo, NY; and brothers, Tim (Kay) Clendenen of Point Pleasant, Kendall (Sheri) Clendenen of Huntington and Jeff (Jenny) Clendenen of Mason, WV.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
