John Bernard David Jr.

John Bernard David Jr., 82, of Stratham, New Hampshire, died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Holzer Senior Care Center, Bidwell, Ohio. He was born July 7, 1930, in Webster, Massachusetts, a son of the late John B. David Sr. and Agnes (Albetski) David. John was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Point Pleasant, served his country in the United States Army, was a retired textile engineer, consultant with Q.A. Technology Corporation; and was owner of C. & J. Services in New Hampshire. In his retirement years, he had the love of his children, grandchildren, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth J. (Lasley) David; and one brother, Kenneth David. Surviving are his children, Carrol D. and Stanton Burdette of Point Pleasant, and John L. David of Longview, Texas; two grandchildren, Megan Bates and Lauren Bates of Point Pleasant; a brother, Robert David of Melbourne, Florida; a sister-in-law, Lee David of Massachusetts; one nephew, Bobby David of Melbourne, Florida; one niece, Cindy David; and a special friend, Sally Doran of Stratham, New Hampshire. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
