June Ann Barger

June Ann (Juniper) Barger, 64, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, following an extended illness.

She was born September 20, 1961, in Point Pleasant, WV, a son of the late Jack Eugene Sr. and Osie Elizabeth (Gardner) Juniper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Barger.

June graduated from Point Pleasant High School, class of 1979. She loved to shop and enjoyed vacationing at the beach, Pigeon Forge, and growing Sunflowers.

Survivors include her children, Roger Pauley of Point Pleasant, Capen Barger and wife, Whitney, of Point Pleasant; siblings, Eloise Juniper of Point Pleasant, Jack E. Jr. (Becky) Juniper of Kenna, WV, David (Maria) Juniper of Canyon, TX; grandchildren, Liam, Jaxton, Caden (Elizabeth Casey), Cyleigh; one great granddaughter on the way, baby girl Tatum and special family friend, Reeca Allbright of Point Pleasant.

In honoring June’s wishes, there will be no public services at this time.
