Kenneth Laverne Hope

Kenneth Laverne Hope, 65, of Henderson, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at home.

He was born August 4, 1958, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late Kenneth "Danny" Nelson Hope and Doris Arlene (Wears) Hope.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Wayne Hope.

Laverne was a member of the Henderson Church of Christ and a retired deckhand.

He is survived by a daughter, Lindsey Michelle Hope of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Aaliyah Hurt, Quavalius Hope and Kiah Hope all of Point Pleasant; brother, Kim Hope of Point Pleasant; and a special friend Heather Henry of Henderson.

In honoring Laverne's wishes, there will be no public services.  Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.
