Kenneth Eugene Lybarger

Kenneth Eugene “Kenny” Lybarger, 70, of Southside, WV, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at home, with family by his side.

He was born August 12, 1954, in Newark, OH, a son of the late Paul and Julia (Johnson) Lybarger- Starling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Keith Whittington, and several siblings.

Kenny served in the Army National Guard and worked as a Manager for Walmart in Athens. He loved working on cars, woodworking, fishing, and hunting.

Left to cherish is memory include his beloved wife of 51 years, Virginia “Ginny” (Whittington) Lybarger; daughters, Michele (Larry) Keesling of Fries, VA, Jennifer Jeffers of Fries, VA; grandchildren, Josh, Jacob, Katlynn, Todd, Travis, Nathan; brother, Ray Starling of FL and five great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 4 p.m., Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, WV, with Pastor Tommy Vass officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service on Sunday, at the funeral home.
