Leonard Guy Presley

Leonard Guy Presley, 90, of Point Pleasant, died Thursday, May 9, 2013, at Ravenswood Care Center in Ravenswood, WV. He was born October 24, 1922, in Mill Creek, WV, a son of the late Joseph Leonard Presley and Laura Minnie (Smith) Presley. Leonard was a member of First Christian Church in Hinton, WV, graduated from Ripley High School Class of 1943, and retired as a railroad engineer with Chesapeake-Ohio Railway Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and six sisters. He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances (Morris) Presley; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven (Dorothy Boston) Presley of Letart and William (Loretta) Presley of Kenova, WV; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. A graveside service and burial will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant with Rev. John Holland officiating.
