Lorena M. "Peggy" Harbrecht

Lorena M. "Peggy" Harbrecht, 96, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025, at home, with family by her side.

She was born January 31, 1929, in Kaylong, WV, a daughter of the late Hervin Alfonso and Hazel Jessie (Heaton) Lieving. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Paul Harbrecht; daughter and son in law, Jill (Paul) Maynard; brother, Raymond Lieving and one sister, Patricia Lieving.

Peggy was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was also a Charter Member of Quilt N' Things Quilt Guild.

Survivors include her children, Jeffrey Harbrecht and wife, Dee of Henderson, Joseph Harbrecht and wife, Robin of Point Pleasant; Jan Byer of Point Pleasant; sister, Loretta Roush and husband, Paul of Roanoke, VA; grandchildren, Jessica Maynard Loudin (Ben), Joseph Harbrecht (Tabi), Hayley Harbrecht, Rachel Harbrecht, Nathaniel Harbrecht (Loran), Gretchen Byer, Lindsey Byer (Kenny), Nikki Jividen (Josh), Mitchell Harbrecht, Courtney Maynard Jones (Adam), Larry Harbrecht (Alicia), Ben Harbrecht (Kerri), and 19 great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be at Kirkland Memorial Gardens, Point Pleasant, WV, with her son, Joe Harbrecht officiating.
