Lorne Jeffery Leach

Lorne Jeffery "Jeff" Leach, 63, of Point Pleasant, WV, died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at home. He was born April 19, 1951, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Hugh Leach and Betty (Robbins) Leach. Jeff was a retired riverboat pilot with Kanawha River Transportation. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister; and three brothers. He is survived by a son, Eric Leach and wife Shantella of Georgetown, KY; one daughter, Stephanie Dawn Johnson of Point Pleasant; two grandsons, Zander Leach of Georgetown, KY and RaHeem Johnson of Point Pleasant; and one sister, Linda Long of Point Pleasant. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home, in Point Pleasant with Pastor Carl "Boxer" Swisher officiating.
