Marceia Jean Crawford

Marceia Jean Crawford, 79, of Point Pleasant, died Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Arbors in Gallipolis, OH. She was born October 4, 1933, in Sod, WV, a daughter of the late Jeff Harris and Marie (Adkins) Harris. Marceia was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Jean Harris Dowell and one brother, Thomas J. Harris. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Howard Lee Crawford Sr. of Point Pleasant; two daughters, Julie Rebecca Glenn of Apple Grove and Karen Louise Wall of Wheeling; one son, Howard Lee Crawford Jr. (Sheila) of Gallipolis Ferry; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, August 25, 2013 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Nance officiating. Burial will follow at Beale Chapel Cemetery in Apple Grove. Visitation will be Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
