Marybelle Louise Jones

Marybelle Louise (McDermitt) Jones, 66, of Point Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at Holzer Medical Center after a long illness. She was born January 24, 1947, in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late Eugene "Rube" McDermitt and Anna Bell (Hinzeman) McDermitt. Marybelle was a loving mother, grandmother and a homemaker. She was a member of the Henderson Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Jones; and one brother, Paul McDermitt. Marybelle is survived by her daughter, Loretta (Rick) Corbin of Gallipolis, OH; two sons, Kenneth Ray (Vicky) Jones II of Point Pleasant and James William Jones and (Carolyn Brady) of Dayton, OH; grandchildren, Ritchie Corbin and fiancee Megan Clonch, Winter (Matt) McDaniel, Hope Jones, Emily Jones, Katie Jones, Carson Jones and Bridget Jones; special niece, Angie Workman; and her loving dog Toby. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Paul Voss officiating.
