Michelle LeAnne Halfhill, lovingly known as "Mikki," passed away peacefully at her home on June 12, 2026.
Mikki was born on January 9, 1980, in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, to Boyd and Linda Hodge. She was welcomed into Heaven by her grandfather, William Hamm; her grandparents, Paul and Janie Bennett; and Vivian Hodge, all of whom preceded her in death.
For 19 wonderful years, Mikki shared her life with her husband, Jamie Halfhill. Together they created a loving home and raised three sons, Justin Brumfield, CJ Halfhill, and Dalton Halfhill. Her role as a mother was one she treasured deeply, and her devotion to her boys was evident in everything she did.
One of the greatest blessings in Mikki's life was becoming a "Nan. "Her grandson, Lincoln, was the light of her life and brought her immeasurable happiness. She adored every moment spent with him and cherished the special bond they shared.
Mikki is survived by her sister, Heather (Jason) Leach, who was not only family but also her closest friend. Their relationship was built on love, trust, and countless treasured memories. She also leaves behind her niece, Libby (Justin) Robson, and her nephews, Jacob Leach and JW Leach, all of whom held a special place in her heart. In addition, she is survived by her uncle, Jessie Hamm, as well as many cousins, relatives, and dear friends.
Mikki will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and the genuine love she showed to everyone around her. She treasured time spent with family and friends and found joy in life's simple moments. She also had a special love for her faithful companions Brutus, Hank, and Princess Penelope ("PP»)-who were cherished members of her family.
Though her absence leaves a tremendous void, her spirit lives on in the memories she created and the lives she touched. Her family finds comfort in remembering her warmth, her humor, and the love she shared so freely.
As we say goodbye for now, we take solace in knowing that Mikki rests in eternal peace, embraced by the love and grace of Heaven.
