Mollie Lynn Yauger

Mollie Lynn (Wartenburg) Yauger, 86, of Southside, WV, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV.

She was born February 11, 1939, in Point Pleasant, WV, a daughter of the late Howard Daniel and Nora (Morrow) Wartenburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Hilda Gygax.

Mollie graduated from Point Pleasant High School, class of 1956. In her earlier years, she was a Licensed Beautician where she owned and operated her own shop on Main Street in Point Pleasant. Mollie was also the Secretary and an influential part of the family business, Yauger Farm Supply, Inc. of Southside, WV. She was member of Beech Hill United Methodist Church of Southside, WV, Mason County Quilt Block Trail and the Quilt Guild of Mason County. Mollie had a passion for quilting and crafts.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Raymond Yauger; daughters, Sharon Foglesong and husband, Dan of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, Sandra Dunn and husband, Jim of Leon, WV; son, David Yauger of Southside, WV; grandson, Drew Foglesong of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; granddaughters, Danielle Hitt and husband, Jarred of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, Kaitlyn Dunn of College Station, TX; great granddaughter, Everly Hitt Gallipolis Ferry, WV; sister, Anne Hite of Point Pleasant, WV and sister-in-law, Catherine Yauger of Point Pleasant, WV.

Service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, WV, with Pastor Ronnie Tote officiating. Burial will follow at Suncrest Cemetery, Point Pleasant, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the funeral home.
