Naomi Sue (Phillips) Muncy

Naomi Sue (Phillips) Muncy, 74, of Gallipolis Ferry, died Sunday, December 9, 2012, at Clarks Christian Care in East Bank, WV. She was born January 25, 1938, in Turkey Creek, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Roy Phillips and Hazel Virginia (Varney) Phillips. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd C. Muncy; and a son, Clayton Alan Muncy. Naomi is survived by her children, Elizabeth G. and Steve Burnett of Point Pleasant, Scot Lee and Pam Muncy of Gallipolis Ferry, and Floyd "Neal" and Melissa Muncy of Gallipolis Ferry; six grandchildren, Jason (Tricia) Whittington, Jordan Muncy, Jacob Muncy, Jaydan Muncy, Chase Muncy, and Tyler Burnett; two great grandchildren, Andrew Whittington and Wyatt Whittington; one sister, Wilma Scalf of Turkey Creek, KY; and one brother, Roy Lee Phillips of Portland, OR. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Mark Williams officiating.
