Owen Eugene Allbright

Owen Eugene Allbright, 88, of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at home. 

He was born October 6, 1937, in Arlee, West Virginia, a son of the late Garland Edward and Garnett Beatrice (Caudill) Allbright. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Carol Ann (Buckle) Allbright; brother, Robert E. "Bob" Allbright and his wife, Patty; stepfather, Worthy Pearson; brothers-in-law, Curtis Harris, Bracy Kinniard; sisters-in-law, Doris Harris, Beverly Buckle and father and mother-in-law, Lester and Beulah Buckle. 

Owen owned and operated Allbright Bottle Gas in Point Pleasant, WV, and was a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed all kinds of hunting, especially Turkey hunting, fishing, and was an avid outdoorsman. 

Survivors include his daughter, Kathy L. Young and her husband, Robert of Bidwell, OH; grandchildren, Katlyn Young of Bidwell, OH, Allie Justus and her husband, Evan of Bidwell, OH, Dakota Young of Bidwell, OH; one great grandson, Knox Michael Allan Young of Bidwell, OH; sister-in-law, Dorothy Kinniard of Point Pleasant, WV; brother-in-law, Mike Buckle of Apple Grove, WV and several nieces and nephews. 

In honoring his wishes, there will be no public services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Beale Chapel Cemetery, Apple Grove, WV.
