Ozzie Norman Finley, 84, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Pleasant Valley Healthcare Center.
He was born April 19, 1941, in East Lynn, WV, a son of the late Phil Finley and Juanita (Adkins) Finley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Harriette Finley; two sons, Ozzie Finley, Jr. and Jerry Lee Finley; and two sisters, Bonnie Gale Finley and Sandra Gertrude Finley.
Ozzie was a member of Beech Hill United Methodist Church of Southside, WV. He was a graduate of Pineville High School and Marshall University with a B.A. in English and Masters in Safety. Ozzie enjoyed music and was the banjo player for River Junction Bluegrass Band. He was a Transportation Safety Manager and retired from Wal-Mart Regional.
He is survived by a daughter, Allyson (Christopher) Ey; two grandchildren, LilyAnn Juanita Finley and Wilson Perry Ey; a sister, Connie Lee Lambert; and two sisters-in-law, Catherine Huffman and Addie (Roger) Hopson.
A celebration of life service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Beech Hill Church in Southside. Lunch will be provided following the service. Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is in charge of the arrangements.
