Pat Meredith Wilson Iv

Pat Meredith Wilson IV, 51, of Leon, WV, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023, at home.

He was born May 29, 1972, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of Pat M. Wilson III and Elaine A. (Schmoll) Wilson.

Pat was preceded in death by his wife, Joya Dawn (Hatfield) Wilson; and father, Pat M. Wilson III.

Pat was a member of the Leon United Methodist Church.  He was a graduate of Poca High School Class of 1990, served his country in the United States Army and had worked as a sales representative with a military telemarketing company.

He is survived by his mother, Elaine Wilson of Bancroft; a son, Dalton R. Wilson of Bancroft; brother, James Alex Wilson of Charleston; a niece Mia Rose Wilson of Charleston; and many relatives and friends.

The family has requested when attending services for Pat, wear your favorite t-shirt and jeans.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Bill Greene officiating.  Burial will follow at the Leon Cemetery in Leon, WV.  Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
