Patricia Ann Ross

Patricia Ann Ross, 73, of Point Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Point Pleasant. She was born September 23, 1947, in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late John R. and Mary Kathryn (Harris) Towner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Patrick Fields. Patty was a member of Heights United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant, where she had served as Youth Director and held several other offices in the church. She was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School, Class of 1965 and a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Melvin L. Ross of Point Pleasant; son and daughter-in-law, Brian K. and Beverly Ross of Point Pleasant; daughters and son-in-law, Melanie L. and Brad Sang of Point Pleasant and Stephanie L. Ross of Point Pleasant; brothers, John Towner Jr. of Parkersburg, WV and Charles M. (Fanny) Towner of Point Pleasant; and eight grandchildren, Olivia Hope Sang, Aidan Sang, Isabella Sang, Daniel Ross, Devin Ross, Miranda Ross, Dylan Rupe and Clarence Clonch. The family sincerely thanks the staff of Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and especially Crystal Pruett and Bridget Anthony for their kindness, compassion and exceptional care shown to Patty. A graveside service and burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2021, at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Brian K. Ross officiating.
