Patricia Michelle "Patty" Sanders

Patricia Michelle “Patty” Sanders, 69, of Hurricane, WV, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV.

She was born February 23, 1956, in South Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Ottis Orr and Rose Eileen (Gatens) White.

Affectionately known to family and friends as Patty, graduated from Point Pleasant High School, class of 1974. She was a devoted homemaker, ensuring her home was kept in tip top shape and loving her family. Patty enjoyed painting ceramics.

Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Wayne Sanders; children, Brooke (Adam) Quentrill of Hurricane, WV, Erin (Jesse) Davis of Poca, WV; four grandchildren, Dylan (Samantha) Quentrill of Barboursville, WV, Zane Quentrill of Hurricane, WV, Abby Sanders of Poca, WV, Layne Davis of Poca, WV; brother, Brooks (Trisha) White of Hurricane, WV; sisters, Jody (Ron) Durst of Point Pleasant, WV, Angie Anderson of Hartford, WV; nieces and nephews, Brad (Michelle) White, Kevin (Jerrica) White, Miranda (Spencer) Kissel, Ken (Abby) Durst, Rebcca Durst, Meghann (Dane) Diemer, Cara (Dylan) Smith and multiple great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at St. Patrick Catholic Church 207 Jefferson Street Bancroft, WV 25011 with Father Chapin Engler officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
