Patsy "Pat" Hornsby

Patsy “Pat” Hornsby, age 93, of Point Pleasant, WV, formerly of Arnett, Raleigh County, WV, made her heavenly journey home, Sunday, February 15, 2026, at her home.

Pat was born Nov. 13, 1932, in Montcoal, Raleigh County, WV, a daughter to the late Rev. Wade and Margie (Sarrett) Webb. Pat was a homemaker and nurse working at the Beckley Medical Arts Clinic in Beckley, WV, as well as for several pediatricians in Huntington, WV. She was a member of the First Church of God in Point Pleasant, WV.

Besides her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, William “Bill” Hornsby; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Philip Primozic of Charleston, WV.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Jack) Miller of Point Pleasant, WV; granddaughter, Rachel (Kevin) Law; great grandchildren, Greyson Thomas Law and Elliot Grace Law, all of Point Pleasant, WV; two sisters-in-law, Wanda Lee Dolin of Fosterville, WV and Ada Mae Shrimer of Morgantown, WV and several nieces and nephews. Pat had several caregivers whom she loved and appreciated, Susan Swisher, Tabby Clinton, Allyson Sayre, Teresa Smith, and Linda Stewart.

Pat’s life will be celebrated in a funeral service on Wednesday, February 18, 2025, at 3:00 P.M., at Wilcoxen Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, WV, with Pastors Carl “Boxer” Swisher and Matt Brown Officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions in Pat’s memory to either the First Church of God Building Fund 2401 Jefferson Ave. Point Pleasant, WV, or to Hospice of Huntington 1101 Sixth Ave. Huntington, WV.

Pat’s care and care of her family have been entrusted to Wilcoxen Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, WV.
