Ruby Deloris Gentry

Ruby Deloris Gentry, 90, of Ripley, WV, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Camden Clark Medical Center, in Parkersburg, WV.She was born May 27, 1923, in London, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Cleveland Emerson Jones and Minnie Catherine (Simpkins) Jones.Ruby retired with 50 years service, as a binder for Universal Printing, Columbus, OH, and was a member of the Graphics Communication Union Local No. 508.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Evelyn Nelson, Esther Hammack, Alma NcNeely, and Nina Monk; and two brothers, Basil Jones, and Earl Curtis Jones.She is survived by one sister, Carol Thompson of Charleston, WV; and several nieces and nephews.A funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Speaker Bill Dowell officiating. Private burial will follow at Suncrest Cemetery, in Point Pleasant.
