Shon Bryan Jones

Shon Bryan Jones, 39, of Gilbert, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at home. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1988, had attended WVU, and was currently attending ASU. Shon loved to play basketball with his brother and also enjoyed playing cards with friends and family. Shon was born November 4, 1969 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of Betty (Austin) Jones and William Jones of Point Pleasant. Surviving in addition to his parents, is his wife, Mary (Rochlevitch) Jones; two beautiful children, Seirra and Steffen; one brother, Dennis (Hilary) Jones of Point Pleasant; stepfather, Casey Jones; aunts; nieces; and many friends. Although Shon was taken from us too early, he will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Ross officiating. Military rites will be given by WV Honor Guard and American Legion Post No. 23 of Point Pleasant. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
