Virginia "Jennie" Pearl Nibert, 84, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 26, 2014, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. She was born June 17, 1930, in Gallia County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Shannon "Bud" Taylor Northup and Bonnie Pearl (Spears) Northup. Virginia was a homemaker and member of New Hope Bible Baptist Church in Point Pleasant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover F. "Joe" Nibert; and a great granddaughter, Karley Watson. She is survived by two daughters, Drema (Rick) Roberts of Gallipolis Ferry and Jeanie Nibert of Gallipolis Ferry; two granddaughters, Selena (James) Higginbotham of Point Pleasant and Courtney (Virgil) Watson of Rutland, OH; and four great grandchildren, Makinley Higginbotham, Braylon Higginbotham, Ethan Watson, and Emily Watson. Also surviving are one sister, Wilma Hilty of Reynoldsburg, OH; and two brothers, Thomas (Monilla) Northup of Hendersonville, NC and Shannon Northup of Middleport, OH. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Charles Moses officiating.
