Wanda M. (Watterson) Potts, 59, of Gallipolis Ferry, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, October 25, 2013, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born February 15, 1954, a daughter of the late Okey Randall Watterson and Maxine M. (Dunn) Watterson. Wanda was an assistant customer service manager for Kroger with 26 years service, graduated from Point Pleasant High School Class of 1972, and was a member of Local No. 400 UFCW. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dannie Potts; one son, Stephen Dion Potts; one brother, Randall Watterson, and an infant brother. She was also preceded by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Charles and Leona Potts, Ira and Jewell Potts, and Betty Shipman. She is survived by one daughter, Tiffany (Matt) Preston of Milton; a son, Christopher (Stephaine) Potts of Gallipolis Ferry; four grandsons, Cole Potts, Caiden Potts, Gavin Fulton, and Colton Preston; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim and Helen Potts, and Robert and Janice Potts; and two uncles, Norman Dunn and Roy (Wanda) Dunn. A funeral service will held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Cathy Searls officiating. Burial will follow at Potts Family Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
