Mary Ellen Thomas

Mary Ellen Thomas, 83, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Rivers Health ER.

She was born August 12, 1941, in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late Russell Garland Nott and Nellie Gertrude (Luckeydoo) Nott.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe "Bob" Thomas; and three brothers, Donald Nott, Franklin "Ned" Nott and Lowell "Reece" Nott.

Mary was a member of Henderson Church of Christ of Henderson and a retired cook from the Mason County Schools with 40 years of service.

She is survived by four children, Kellie (Dee) Thomas of Point Pleasant, Bobby (Lana) Thomas Jr. of Leon, Greg (Tracey) Thomas of Point Pleasant and Shawn (Kari) Thomas of Leon; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one brother, Russell "Rusty" Nott of Point Pleasant; and a sister, Pam Shriver of Belleview, FL.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Henderson Church of Christ in Henderson, with Minister Robert Leedy officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Letart, WV. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Saturday at the church.
