Jonathan A. Sigman

Manager/ Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer/ L.I.C.

Jonathan A. Sigman joined Wilcoxen Funeral Home in June of 2025. He was born and raised in Charleston, WV, and is the son of Frank Sigman and the late Cynthia Sigman. Jonathan is a 2011 graduate of South Charleston Christian Academy, 2013 graduate of West Virginia Junior College with an Associate Degree in Business Administration, and a 2016 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science for which he received his Diploma in Funeral Directing and Embalming. Jonathan has progressed to receive State and National Board Certification. He is a member of the West Virginia Funeral Directors and Crematory Operators Association, and the National Funeral Directors Association. He and his wife, Brooke, have three children, and reside in New Haven. They attend Grace Baptist Church in Point Pleasant and enjoy Southern Gospel music and vacationing at Holden Beach in North Carolina.

Richard D. Green

Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer

Richard D. Green has been employed with the Wilcoxen Funeral Home since 1990. Richard is the son of the late Fred and Bernice (Miller) Green. He grew up on the family farm located in the Upland Community of Mason County. He is a 1985 graduate of Hannan High School and a 2007 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science for which he received his diploma in funeral directing and embalming. Richard was the Vice President of his class and was the recipient of the prestigious Mu Sigma Alpha Award and Key presented by the National Association of Colleges of Mortuary Science. Richard has progressed to receive State and National Board Certification. He is a 2008 graduate of West Virginia State University. He and his wife, Alesia (Cobb) Green, who is principal of Leon Elementary School have one son and daughter-in-law, Tyler & Megan Green, and three grandchildren, Jayden Marie Green, Rocky Justin Green, and Memphis Willet. Richard and his family are members of Teays Valley Baptist Church. He is also a member and past President of the Point Pleasant Rotary Club, Mason County Chamber of Commerce Board, West Virginia Funeral Director's Association, and the National Funeral Director's Association. Richard would like to thank you for selecting the Wilcoxen Funeral Home as your funeral home of choice. His goal is to provide families with quality service and support. Assisting families as they celebrate and honor the life of their loved one is a responsibility and privilege Richard has experienced over the last thirty-five years while working at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home. R. Kim Browning

Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer

Kim has been with the Wilcoxen Funeral Home since 1994. Originally from Meigs County, Ohio, he and his family moved to Point Pleasant in 1991. His wife, Judy, and sons, Christian and Ben, enjoy living in Mason County. They are members of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Point Pleasant when they assist with the music program.
Kim has obtained the following college degrees: A.S. in Psychology from the University of Rio Grande in Rio Grande, Ohio; B.A. in Mortuary Science from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in Cincinnati, Ohio; and a M.A. in Counseling from the Marshall Graduate College in Charleston, West Virginia.

He enjoys serving on the Board of Directors for the Mason County Action Group in Mason County. He is also employed as a School Counselor at Point Pleasant Primary and Point Pleasant Intermediate Elementary Schools. As a licensed funeral director, Kim is a member of both the West Viriginia and National Funeral Directors Associations. On the weekends, he plays in a country bluegrass band at various events around the area.

Howard L. Bechtle II

Funeral Attendant

Howard has been employed with the Wilcoxen Funeral Home since 2021. He is the son of Howard and Suetta Bechtle of Leon. Howard has lived in Mason County his entire life and grew up in the Greer Rd. community. He is a 1984 graduate of Pt. Pleasant High School and a 1988 graduate of Marshall University.

Howard has been employed in the industry the past 34 years and is currently Laboratory Manager for APG Polytech. He and his wife, Lisa (Kay) Bechtle, who is employed by Holzer Medical Center have one son, Jason and one daughter, Malea.

Howard is a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, and a member of the Gideons International. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, camping, and the great outdoors.

Ronnie Cremeans

Funeral Attendant

Ronnie has been working for Wilcoxen Funeral Home for 17 years. He retired from Appalachian Life Insurance Company in Huntington, with 42 years of service. Ronnie was born in Midkiff, WV, to James Clark and Pauline Cremeans. He graduated from Guyan Valley High School in 1957. Ronnie is married to his high school sweetheart Naomi Ruth (Terry) Cremeans for 60 years. They have two children, a son Ronald Cremeans Jr., and a daughter Vickie Lynn Workman; 6 grandchildren, Rachel Blankenship, Hannah Curry, Mary Grace Workman, Douglas Workman, Jonathan Cremeans, and Samuel Cremean;s and three great-grandchildren, Case Curry, Jett Curry, and Naomi Ruth Blankenship. Ronnie's favorite past time and always has been and will always be was attending his children's sporting events, ball, band and cheerleading, etc., then he went on to the grandchildren's events cheering them on to victory and still cheering for Samuel who plays basketball for Marietta College. And now, our great-grandson Case plays T Ball and soccer, Ronnie is right there cheering him on. Ronnie is a born-again Christian and member of New Hope Bible Baptist Church in Point Pleasant, where he sings in the choir and loves greeting all of his friends. He is also, a 50-year member of the Minturn Lodge 19 A.F. & A.M. in Point Pleasant. Ronnie's passion is serving others, visiting hospitals and nursing homes with his basket of goodies and having prayer with them. He loves spreading a little cheer.

Mitchell Mace

Funeral Attendant

Mitch is a 1969 graduate of Point Pleasant High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Glenville State College and his masters degree from Marshall University.

He taught in Mason County Schools for seven years and was employed by AEP at the Philip Sporn Plant for 27 years.

Mitch is a member of New Hope Bible Baptist Church and Minturn Lodge 19 A.F. & A.M. in Point Pleasant. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and hunting.

Travis Keefer

Funeral Attendant

Travis Keefer has been employed with Wilcoxen Funeral Home since 2021. He is a graduate of River Valley High School and received his Criminal Justice Degree from Florida Metropolitan University. Travis and his wife Sarah are the parents of three sons, Dylan, Landyn and Holdyn Keefer. His family attends True Life Ministries in Point Pleasant.

Winona L. McKinney

In Loving Memory 1952 - 2025

Winona was a part of funeral service her entire life. She worked as the secretary of the Wilcoxen Funeral Home for over 40 years. She is the daughter of the late Loraine “Wilkie” Wilcoxen and Mary F. Wilcoxen, the founders of the Wilcoxen Funeral Home.

Winona and her husband, Roger, are the parents of three children, Monica Thomas, Nick McKinney, and the late Reed McKinney. They are the proud grandparents of three granddaughters, Madelyn Claire Thomas, Sophia Ann Thomas, and Isabella Kate McKinney. Winona graduated from Point Pleasant High School.
